This island again? How did that happen? Threo wasn’t really sure how she ended up here the first time, or how she’d gotten back home, but being back made it extra confusing. Nobody noticed she was gone, which was good, because it would’ve really sucked if they needed her while she’d been stuck. Hopefully they won’t need her this time, either.
She walks through the streets, axe slung over her shoulder, and finds that the memories of this odd city aren’t as far off as they’d seemed. In fact, it kind of feels like she never left at all. If she were any smarter, she might dwell on that a little longer, but if she were smarter she wouldn’t be Threo.
Before long, a delightful smell tickles her nose, and she remembers one of the best things about this city. The food. It doesn’t take long before Threo takes a seat at a table, now armed with an entire cake for no one but herself. Maybe some tasty food will help her readjust.
Not even one bite in, another familiar smell wafts by. Something Threo knows well, something... no, someone strong. Her eyes widen as he walks into view, and she smiles.
“Hey, hey! Siete!” she shouts, waving her hand as high as her height allows. “You’re here too, huh! This place stinks, doesn’t it?”
Laughing, she finally takes her first mouthful of cake. Hopefully Siete doesn’t expect her to share.
