scavanged some lights from my daughters basement when we redid her ceiling recently and put them in mine. I don't need fancy just functional. It's nice to have more light down there, makes it almost habitable :)

finished the basement floor, lugging the concrete, mixing, and all was brutal in this heat. And of course I had to remove more of the old floor as I was prepping so everything just kinda expanded into a larger project.
Bubbles got some love here the other day so I thought I'd post more of her. She's the best!
That bottom closeup shot is her "you're late feeding me" look.
and, just because since I don't have time to work on the house this week.........I thought I'd drop a pic of me when I'm not all grubby.
more of the far side of the basement, made a rack for the old wood. I feel like it's all one of those little puzzles from when I was a kid, the kind with one open spot and you have to move all the tiles until you get things in the right spot. everything has to be messed up before it all comes together and has its place.
and................ Bubbles!
Finished walling off the coal bin today! yay right.....little by little, bit by bit......this place will be brought under control and made useful again.
