Had a great time at the White Sox game last night. It wasn’t looking too good for the Sox as they entered the bottom of the 9th inning down 7-5 to the Rangers. But the Sox scored 3 runs in the 9th, including a walk-off 2-run double by Melky Cabrera. It was “Mullet Night” at the ball park so every time a player came up to bat, they were shown on the scoreboard with a mullet meme. This was Melky’s mullet meme, a photo I took just moments before his game winning hit. The scoreboard also notes his previous four game winning hits this season. With perfect weather, great seats and a fireworks show after the game, we could not have asked for a better evening. As Harry Caray used to say, “You can’t beat fun at the old ballpark!”

The longest mass I ever went to

It was said in 4 different languages: some in English Latin Spanish and polish.

Plus I got to overlook where disco demolition occurred at comisky park!! Its now parking lot B. But the old home plate was saved. My dad went to disco demolition in 1978!

I wore the Sox colors because I gotta rep my team! And no- I'm not a Sox fan because the pope is, I'm a Sox fan because Im a Sox fan!
