These beautiful Orange-Soy Glazed Scallops are full of flavor and great for a quick gourmet meal. When you mix sour orange juice, salty soy sauce, and sweet honey, you get a delicious glaze that looks great on the juicy scallops. When you serve these scallops with green onions and sesame seeds, they look beautiful and taste great.
Ingredients: 12 large scallops, patted dry. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons orange juice. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon minced garlic. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.
Instructions: Mix soy sauce, orange juice, and honey in a small bowl with a whisk. Put away. Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. Grate the ginger and mince the garlic into the pan. Saut for one minute. Sprinkle the scallops with salt and pepper, and then put them all in a single layer in the pan. Just a minute or two on each side will do to make the scallops golden brown and fully cooked. Put the scallops in the skillet and pour the orange-soy glaze over them. Let the scallops cook for one to two more minutes so the glaze can thicken and cover them. Take the scallops off the heat and put them on a plate to serve. Put green onions and sesame seeds on top to make it look nice. Serve right away and enjoy!
