Fallen || Self-Para
It all happened so fast. One minute it was just a conversation, the next he was in wolf form fighting in a room that seemed to grow smaller by the second. But nothing he did could match the years Kyle had on him. It took everything inside Kevin not to be at a total loss, but it took one strike to practically knock him out. The claw cracking his skull as it embedded into his head. It was the most pain he had ever felt. Even shifting had stopped hurting that bad. But it was the one hit that left him motionless on the ground, the perfect time for Kyle to kill him.
In those few moments of waiting for his imminent death, Kevin even wondered how it had gotten that far. There were easier ways to kill someone, but he had to go for the one that would have made him looked stronger. Instead, everyone that supported him would hear of the embarrassment he caused. A part of him was sad because of the countless wolves who had fought for him. And now Kevin was laying on the floor of the enemy, giving up on what he had hoped for. Even the thought of healing was out of the question. There were wounds past that point. Kevin just wanted the darkness to take over. For the pain to stop and all of it to be over.
Finally, it came. The slow shut of his eyes as the excruciating pain was the only thing his mind could focus on. It was nothing like he had expected. No flashes of his past or a white light. There was only pain.
