Been a bit since I posted a mini So here’s Dark Helmet from Spaceballs.
Sisters Novitiates with autoguns (plus the Duelist) done!
It's been quite some time since I painted GW minis and I have to say: I have NOT missed them. Overcomplicated, random bits of detail stuck all over the place, they just take so much time and effort to finish. I know that someone in this picture is wearing a ring that I just forgot to paint gold and cannot be bothered to go back and touch up.
The Duelist is hands down the coolest model in the Novitiates killteam. This is my second box of these ladies and the first time around I didn't build the Duelist and opted for a flamer instead, and I regretted it almost instantly. But now I have one! She's going to be running as a Swordsman in Silver Bayonet because that's a soldier type in that game, and if you just ignore the grenades then she looks the part fine! The rest of the Order of the Desert Rose here will be doing duty in Xenos Rampant, Stargrave (I actually have a solo game with the Dead or Alive rules I'm brewing up to use with them), Space Weirdos, and possibly OPR if I ever get around to that. On to the next!
Painted another three minis from my Stargrave Crew 2 box, that gives me ten to give me different options for space station zero or space weirdos.
Planning to take the other ten and make a couple into civilians and then paint the others in different colours for baddies in space weirdos solo mode.
Some bright and cool minis, I realised I’m over relying on metallics usually when I much prefer vibrant minis. If I painted this as I normally do, they’d pretty much be entirely metallics literal head to toe, so I’m gonna mix it up.
Painted this cyclops gun mutant guy from Mammoth Miniatures. Probably gonna use him for some Space Weirdos games.
I'm about to have a philosophy test where I gotta write a two page essay on my theory over what is art and its value and the only things I can think about are the Dragon Riders, and how RC9CN and WOY were done so so dirty by Disney and deserved their 3rd seasons.

Painted star destroyer. Gonna use it in sci-fi games as like a defending shop or as a base. Hopefully sooner rather than later
