What is “mind space”?

To be honest, I just made this phrase up. I’ve never really heard anyone directly mention their space of mind. Yeah, you hear about peace of mind or state of mind... but space of mind? It’s somewhat different. I am using the term “mind space” to refer to all of the different thoughts, emotions, positives and negatives that may fill up your mind. Think of your mind as the galaxy. Dictionary.com defines the word “galaxy” as “a large system of stars held together by mutual gravitation and isolated from similar systems by vast regions of space.” In my concept of mind space, the stars serve as our many different thoughts and I hope this page works as our mutual gravitation or common interests. We are all individuals. It is important for us to break out of our isolation and recognize that we all have “similar systems” or can relate to each other in one way or another. Acknowledge that your mind space is unique but also be open and willing to step out of your head and into someone else’s space of mind.
