A little pic for macro march, the two kinds of big she can get in the first game. I tried to get them as close to each other in weight as I could, I guess macro lungs take out a lot more weight than I initially thought.

Thumping once again

Technically V1.0.1, there was a quick bug fix I had to do. But the game is now in a pretty complete state! Now this doesn't mean the end of development for this game, I still have plenty of features I want to add so there's still some stuff to look forward to.

We now know Pilot's species, but what about Tauma and Dax?

I hadn't thought about it much before this ask, but here's some preliminary thoughts/sketches. I haven't decided anything about colors, genders, or names yet though.

Tauma's species:

They have a weird dent in the skull that becomes visible/more pronounced as they get older.

Gave them a little tail.

The lower jaw and front area being a lighter color is pretty universal, but I'm still deciding what other skin patterns will be present. Probably anything you would see on a snake.

Ears are pretty variable in length, curving backwards is by far the most common shape but some people have ears that curve forwards.

Earrings and ear notching are pretty common.

Tattoos are also pretty common in a lot of cultures, with the area on top/behind the nose being especially common. I imagine the region Tauma comes from would have rigid geometric patterns be a common theme for tattoos.

Dax's species:

Lots of variation in fur length/texture.

Eye spots can merge into one large "mask"

Other fur patterns are possible but less common, like the guy with the differently colored snout on the bottom row.

One to two stripes on the ears

I like the six nipples so I'm going to keep those.

Protruding tusks are less common, but they all have them.

Pupils are very large and often take up the whole eye.

Lighter colored fur on front is pretty common but not universal

Bands of colored fur (same color as the ear stripes) are common on the arms, legs, and neck
