Aries: Go! Go! The tape is cut, you’re free! Charge into the new year! You burnt the bridge leading behind you, and can never go back.

Sagittarius: A map, inaccurate and outdated. The scribbles in the margin are a mess, incomprehensible at best. Arrows obstruct the roads and names of places long since lost.

Capricorn: Rage, both hot and cold and not. The flicker in someone's eyes before they snap, the muscles that pull the mouth in a snarl, the harrowing howl that grips bones.

Aquarius: Puzzle pieces, with no edges. There is no picture, only colors. In some places, it's orderly, in others, haphazard. The rhyme and reason is different each time.

Pisces: A melody, that goes on and on and on. It starts out one way, slips into another, and ends on an entirely different tune.

Aries: your energy may wane but your strength does not. patience does not come easily, but you must bide your time for now. make them pay.

Taurus: you will awaken soon, and be at your most powerful point all year. they thought you dead to the world, but you listened. go forth.

Gemini: you blame the darkness on the outside, but refuse to look at the darkness eating you from within. shake off the hoarfrost and try again. focus.

Cancer: the ice will split and crack, carrying your baleful melody to the wind. rise up, but don't drag anyone down with you along the way. you know better.

Leo: your hunger is pushing you through the cold, and will keep pushing you. for all your effort, you survived, but is there anything at the end of all of it? try again.

Virgo: you planned, and prepared, and got everything aligned within a neat little row, hoping they would all fall the way you wanted. foolish.

Libra: they say spring is the season of growth. why start there? tear down the ice that winter's hardships built up around you. growth starts now.

Scorpio: fitting that the cold softens your dead heart. if only it would stay soft, so that you would know what a genuine emotion feels like again. go home.

Ophiuchus: just as the sun gradually returns to the days, you too gradually shift and regain what you have lost. shed yourself, return anew, carve your place in the world. rise.

Sagittarius: this is one stop on your continuous journey that causes you to pause, and look to the heavens. the night is long and dark. light the way.
