her chest heaves, sweat-slick hair clinging to her skin. her gaze twitches to the side as she surveys her surroundings, a hand braced against the wall as her vision shifts and her body threatens to give out beneath her. it’s not the first time her body’s slipped so far into the red, it won’t be the last. raven still breathes for a reason. she’ll pry it out of one of them soon enough.
