i heard tumblr was the cool place to be again (always was). this weekend i've been working on painting, real and digital. here's some studies in rebelle i did to try and understand oils. happy lunar new year!

Fanart sketch because I spent longer than I intended to today crashed out on the couch re-reading chapters of Odd Girl Out on Webtoon. Odd Girl Out is one of my favourite comics - doing some kind of fanart has been on my list for a while, and re-reading an older comic that compared Nari to Park Bo Young gave me a bit more of an idea of how to do it. Odd Girl Out is an awesome read if you like stories about girls friendships and complex slice of life drama. i wanted to try out the new colorize feature in #clipstudiopaint too! it took some trial and error*, but i'm pleasantly surprised with the result on this quick sketch.
