There have been some interesting current events lately! This morning, I got out of bed before 11am and did some reading for an hour. I’m 50 pages away from finishing Atomic Habits. I kinda want to try to finish it today or tomorrow—hopefully that’s not too ambitious. I got a new cup, and it’s so girly pop I love it. I’m going to get some more reading done, and then I’ll post a reading update. After this, I plan on going to the gym, eating lunch, and working on schoolwork.

I’ve been doing nothing but downloading articles this whole week. We’re moving onto the next phase of our research tomorrow, so I need to get all my work done by Saturday (tomorrow)! Luckily, I should be able to get all my work done in the time it needs to be done.

Im trying to get better at posting on here, so hopefully I’ll make this more of a habit!

Today, I spent around two hours organizing the two side drawers and the long front drawer of my desk. I was able to organize all of my incense and sticker sheets enough to allow for more room for books and journals.

I’m glad that this space is now going to be a somewhat functional place for me. I still have a ton of stuff to do around my dorm room, but this was a good first step.

👍 I completed a huge part of the research project. I was able to get everything that I needed to get done in the time I set.

There are a few days that I can rest before I get started on the research project again. I’m going to try and chores done over Sunday and Monday. I feel like I can get back to living after essentially tunnel-visioning over this part of the research project

I left my dorm at around 10am, and I returned around 6pm, and I was exhausted. I could barely pay attention in my Japanese class. Apparently we have a speaking test for Japanese on Wednesday, and I wish that we could’ve had a longer time to prepare. That is how things are after spring break, though. 

While I need to study for Japanese, I also need to work on my group speech project, AND I need to do some grocery shopping. I have time after my morning class do some of those things maybe, but it’s not as long as I’d like.

Hello there!

My name is Spaghetti! This is my studyblr, where I will talk about studying, school, and other things relating to academia. I might also talk about reading and books. Hate will not be tolerated here. 

I’m not the best student, but I want to become better at studying, so I’m using this blog to hold myself accountable. Here are some facts about me:

Majors: Sociology & Political Science

Second-year/junior undergraduate college student

I enjoy journaling. I like watching anime with my brother, and playing games with my friends. Some shows that I’m currently watching are: Attack on Titan (rewatch), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012) (rewatch), and Hannibal (first time watching). I’m trying to get back into reading. 

I have a job. The way my work schedule works is that I work one or two days in the week, but my shifts can be up to 15 hours long. There’s a lot of sitting around in my job, so it’s okay. Fun fact: my very first shift was around 15 hours long and I read over 200 pages in my book.
