Rules

I’ve been bitten by the genealogy bug again and it’s because of the insane amount of time I can and do spend on family history that Mr C developed my first rule:

1. Phone away between 9:00pm and 9:30pm.

I haven’t been following this rule at all lately and my energy level has really plummeted as a result. Instead of getting sleepy by 10 o’clock and heading to bed at a decent hour, I’m usually still up playing around on my phone well past 10:00 pm; mostly I’m doing genealogy work on my phone but other times I’m on Facebook or Pinterest or Tumblr. Either way, I’m staying up way too late and not getting the rest I need.

Mr C is taking his time deciding on punishments in general so I haven’t been punished for breaking this rule, even through I really think I should be.

I already know that he won’t use spanking as a punishment for me - spankings are very sexual for us and we’re reluctant to begin punishment spankings. I think we’re both afraid that we won’t enjoy spankings for fun if they’re also used for discipline. (Please weigh in on this if you have experience with both pleasure and punishment spankings within your relationship!)

I’ll ask him tonight after the kids go to bed if he’s any closer to finalizing his decision on how and when he will punish me in general and specifically how and when he will punish me for breaking rule #1.
