-Alfred can't flirt for shit because he was raised by Arthur (who also can't flirt for shit) so the easiest way he found for that is to share silly memes and baking for Antonio. Luckily Antonio has the same dork sense of humor as him and even if his cooking is a bit clumsy it still works because Antonio is more than eager to teach him.

-Antonio admires Alfred's strength. Even when they're enemies (Spanish-American war). He will affectionately refer to him as "pequeño toro" (little bull)

-Alfred knows how to speak Spanish but his lingo is affected by his hispanic neighbors. Spain normally doesn't mind but will flick his nose if he laughs when he uses "vosotros"

-they tried to keep their relationship in secret but they're too affectionated in public so it's hardly a secret. Arthur doesn't like to see they dating but it only makes them date even harder

SpaBel = Slow Burn. Listen lad, @anglaisaph and I even had a plot-line in our RP ring where they were the cutest pair of sunrays, but every time they tried to take a step forward in their incredible romantic tension - a disaster happened. Mostly it consisted in something falling on Spain’s head every time he leant to kiss her. Or she tripped, or a bird shat on them, or they were interrupted... poor munchkins! ♥

Spuk = Enemies to Lovers. Cm’on. That’s literally every spuk story ever™They act like they hate each other, and sometimes it’s even true. But with time... well, life trips over itself a lot. I write a lot of this ship. You know how it goes xD

SpAmerica = Fake dating. I have no idea what would these two get from pretending to date, but finding a reason for it is often the most amazing part of writing a fake dating story ;) I guess Alfred needs someone to get the cheerleaders off his back in this case, and Antonio is the hot guitarist boy. They are the IT couple, except that it’s actually fake because Toni is going through some very tight economical times and Alfred pays him to pretend to date him. Except that they both can feel the attraction, but say nothing because if they start dating for real the money flow will need to stop and Toni really needs it!
