Coopers Sparkling Ale. Whatever that is.

I’m going to leave this one quick for an array of reasons, one and the most dominant being the sheer factor of exhaustion. This sparkling ale, personally not a fan. Cooper’s has a pale ale that I’ll review on a later date as well however. The sparkling sits at a higher than average alcohol content at 5.8% or 1.7 standards in a bottle. It’s a little harder to get your hands on compared to the usual pale simply due to not being quite as popular. To the tongue, its harsh and tasteless, hardly something I’d call relaxing to drink. It has a course body and leaves an awkward feeling in your mouth. I’m not sure if its an acquired taste as I'm personally not a huge ale fan other than your highly adventurous golden ales or maybe the occasional standout pale. I’d like to keep this one brief and will go into more detail about Cooper’s brewing in a separate post.

Origin: South Australia, Australia (obviously in Australia but for those over seas South Australia is a territory of Australia) 

Taste: Harsh and heavy, not an easy drink though I could believe some people enjoying it. 

Next week, I might have something other than Beer to review, hopefully some Bourbons as I duck into a specialty bar in my town and I’ll stick to the beer pattern by having a look at some overseas Breweries in the US specifically.
