There had been a certain bit of nervousness to him as he had done it - even if their friendship was pretty strong and their relationship even stronger (or at least - he liked to think so, even if their relationship was relatively new) - navigating things like this was as terrifying as it could be exhilarating at times - in spite of what his warm and open demeanor might cause others to think, Ryuji...wasn't actually used to showing such open affection to others, especially...especially anyone that he was with. He...really cared about Ren - beyond just not wanting him to be cold - this was...a tentative first step, a caring gesture - in his own way.

As he shyly managed to look up at Ren - at his boyfriend, any doubt or fear he might have felt in that moment faded seeing the look in Ren's eyes - the genuine appreciation and warmth. "Heh, that so...?" His voice still betrays his own shyness in comparison but even so, he tries to match Ren's smoothness.

He has to admit, he's curious to know what exactly Ren has in mind and soon enough - he feels Ren hugging him closely - Ren's hands around his waist and Ren's face only inches away from his own. He knows he must be flushing as red as a tomato - but deep down, he's also incredibly happy and as he manages to bob his head up and down - once, twice - he leans in closer - happily hugging Ren close. "This is just great..." He manages, his voice a surprising soft whisper. "I-I don't mind this at all..."

"I-I mean, I thought I knew where we were going...!" Blind confidence and faith in his own instincts had always worked out for him - most of the time, at least...! Even so, most of the time when he did charge on ahead and make a fool of himself, it was usually just him being left to suffer the consequences of his own impulsive actions - getting Ann lost along with him...genuinely made him feel a little bad.

"C'mon, don't be mad at me..." He hunches down by her, leaning in as close as he can - giving his biggest puppy eyes that he possibly can - honeyed words and sentimental apologies had never been his forte and he didn't want to spend this carefully planned trip with them being upset at each other - if he could lighten the mood, then he would...! He even went as far as reaching out two gloved hands - in the hopes of offering some warm and comforting cuddles...!

As he felt her arms wrapping around his and feeling her nestle closer - he too couldn't resist shuffling just a bit little closer to her - his arms raising as he wraps them around her, pulling her in for an affectionate hug - his chin nestling on her shoulder for several moments as he quietly stands there and simply holds her close. "Well, first thing's first - we're gonna get out of here," He chuckles, now glancing around them - it would be tough no doubt, but they'd find a way out eventually. "You can even take the lead if you want this time - and once we're out," A hand tenderly moves to cup her cheek. "I'm gonna buy you some hot chocolate as a big 'I'm sorry' gift, okay...?"

"Hmm." Alastor hums as he looks through the clothes folded up and placed in a laundry basket beside his bedroom door. He's never much cared to have others in his room, so, by request, Niffty leaves his washed clothes at his door.

And one item seems to be missing.

His first thought was Angel-- taking his clothing as a form of practical joke seemed like something the spider would do-- ah, but he's been at his work since this morning.

Perhaps there had been some mishap with the washing machine; none of the appliances within the hotel worked splendidly.

Alastor hums to himself as he makes his way down the staircase. His intent was to find Niffty and ask-- only to step into the parlor and locate the sweater he was looking for... on their sofa. Worn by the princess.

"Eh-hem," he clears his throat (rather loudly).

"Didn't we just have a lesson on asking before we borrow others things? Lest it be labeled as stealing?"

This wasn't the first time a small group of angels had slipped back down to Hell since Adam's demise, but it was the first time they had struck in the dead of night.

Alastor didn't sleep. It was a vulnerability he simply couldn't afford, and thus, he spent most of his nights in his radio tower, hosting a late night show or writing a radio drama to air during next week's broadcasts.

The angels' arrival was signaled by the sound of shattering glass from down in the parlor, a sound that turned Alastor's tranquil expression to one of excitement as he fell into his shadow.

He purposefully rises up in the midst of this little invasion, his tendrils peeling from his back and wrapping around the necks of the angels closest to him, flinging them against the walls of the hotel before jerking their limp bodies down to the floor, where they were impaled by his microphone. Since the metal of the mic itself was forged from angelic steel, it's the only way to guarantee these obnoxious things don't come back to be a bother again.

Occupied with those in front of him, Alastor doesn't appear to be aware of the angel diving down from above, not until a flap of their wings alerts him, and he raises his microphone to--

-- find himself on the ground, noble blood dripping down mere inches from his hand. With a sneer, he turns to see Charlie, a fresh puncture wound dripping from her shoulder... and the angel that attempted the aerial maneuver lying on the floor with its neck twisted in quite the unnatural position.

He snarls as he rises from the ground, his neck snapping as he surveys the parlor. It would seem that was the last of them.

"... Might I ask what that was about?" He asks, his smile tight and eyes narrowed. "That nearly struck your heart, you know."
