Something that’s always kinda bugged me is how people talk about how Disney should go back to 2d animation, when there are studios who are currently making 2d films.

I mean don’t get me wrong it’d be cool if Disney went back to 2d and all, but they’re not the only animation studio around. People act like 2d is dead when in fact it’s very much alive they’re just not paying attention.

Cartoon saloon made song of the sea, secret of Kells, bread winner and are currently working on wolf walkers.

SPA studios are working on Klaus, which Netflix is producing.

Disney’s great! No doubt about that, but these other studios are pretty cool too, giving life to a beautiful, enriching medium and they deserve just as much recognition.
