from @ugaasadda - I can't believe this is happening in 2016 to none other than our beloved brotha @adamsaleh. The fact that Adam hasn't posted in 2 days speaks levels of how distraught his is. He hints in the video "I'm about to cry right now" and my throat tightened. I'm shocked, and disheartened, and I can feel the pain in the quiver of his voice. All I can think of is all the Eedo's and Abti's and Ayeeyo's who don't speak a word of English. Imagine the white guy next to them felt "uncomfortable" if and when they spoke Somali, or Arabic, or Swahili, or any other foreign language transnational Somalis have the ability to speak in? The only difference would be, as immigrants are overly suspicious of governments, they wouldn't (publicly) breathe a word about their experience of being victims of discrimination. It's bittersweet this happened to @adamsaleh who I love and been following from time - at least he has the platform to bring this to light, and we all have a responsibility to comfort him in his plight and support him in this fight. Please repost this video and use the hashtag #BoycottDelta and tag @delta in the comments. If you or someone you know has experienced discrimination by @delta pls mention it in the comments. A class action lawsuit is coming your way @delta, who knows how many foreign-language speakers ya'll kicked off ya'lls planes? You can't get away with that shit this time #Delta #Equality #SpeakAForeignLanguageOnAPlane @globeandmail @thetorontostar @nationalpost -
