Sherlock Special Countdown 6/7
Two minutes
After another glance at the clock, I get to my feet and head for the bedroom quickly. Surely Watson will sleep here tonight and I need to make sure everything is in place. I searched for our supplies and put them under my pillow, where I would be able to reach for them when the time comes.
Then, taking my time, I change into my bedclothes. I foil my waistcoat and pants properly, and puts them away, leaving a space for Watson’s clothes. I put I my dressing gown and go to the bathroom. It doesn't take long for me to wash my face and teeth, and when I climbs the stair to get Watson own bedclothes, my eyes catch sight of the clock again.
Only one minute left.
I go to put Watson’s clothes on the bed and take out two glasses, as well as our bottle of scotch. I know he will like it, a quiet moment by the fire, just the both of us.
I barely have the time to sit down when I hear footsteps in the stairs. He must have been eager to come back and left Mrs. Hudson earlier than usual. I stand up again and go to wait by the door.
I want to kiss him.
Feel his warm lips, his hot breath and ticketing moustache. All of him feeling like home.
Only a few steps now and finally we will be alone.
He’s here.
To be continued…
