A couple weeks later, I’m still buzzing from the incredible @devilspeakdownhill experience. It’s been too long since I was able to let loose at an event that I wasn’t either organizing or representing on behalf of @IDFracing. My good friend @justinrolo has been supporting @emgeeevents for years and started Devil’s Peak 3 years ago with a highly capable Pagan Downhill crew. This year the county threw some extra-big curveballs; out of fellow Organizer solidarity (and the serious need for a vacation), I smashed the send button, jumped in the Turo incarnation of @midsvan, packed my Tactical Dad @mammutna apparel and experienced an amazing fun-focused big mountain downhill event / bojangling fest with plenty of river lizarding, disc golf, camping and my first #SpeedChurch to boot. This “follow the leader” pack was my favorite run, no small feat considering how many runs Rolo & @bigtythepagan made sure to pump out (20 on Saturday, breaking the #EmgeeEvents #BurkeFreeride record of 19).
