What if...Pietro and Crystal met when they were younger, but neither knew about the other having an ability (it was a one night/weekend thing) and then they didn't see each other again. Ten years later they meet, and BAM! Luna. ((idek it was this or the two of them are space pirates *hands*))
Crystal didn't come to Earth often. She never had the time. So this was a rare and treasured moment that she was getting to share with Luna. Especially since they were visiting for pleasure and not for anything dangerous.Luna had wandered off around the corner of the bakery and Crystal, collecting their bags was following after. "Sweetheart wait for-" she was cut off as she accidentally walked right into the man before her. "I'm so sorry."And once again she was at a loss for words. He looked different, older, but she knew exactly who this man was. Not really sure if she should saw anything she just stared for a moment with wide blue eyes.

Wanda glanced up from her mission report she’d been trying to read and affixed her brother her best glare. It probably ruined the effect that she couldn’t actually stay angry at him. No matter how much she wanted to shove that tennis ball down his throat because, damnit, she’d been trying to read this report for two hours and English was already hard enough for her without the racket. The best she could manage was a strange mix of affection and exasperation. She coupled it with the you’re my brother and I have to love but must you be so annoying? sigh that she had perfected over the years.
“I’m trying to read, Pietro.”
“I don’t care if you’re growing another head. I’ll talk to both of them. I love you.”
Wanda watched her brother, warily. Looking for any signs that he was lying to her. Not that she didn’t think Pietro loved her. She knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he did. And she knew that he was only making a joke to make the situation easier. Still, the twins hadn’t had the best experiences with doctors and labs. It felt like she was betraying him. At the very least, it definitely should be harder to love her than if she actually was growing another head.
Really, Wanda didn’t know what she’d been thinking. It had been easy to say yes in the immediate aftermath of one of her migraines. To let SHIELD’s scientists draw blood and take scans and run tests for the foreseeable future. If Pietro had been by her side, she didn’t think she would have done it, though. Didn’t think she could have betrayed him, betrayed everything they went through together like that.
“I do not think that they’re going to give me another head,” Wanda said shakily, trying to keep the mood just as light as Pietro was. “Just take samples and run tests.”
Yes, that was definitely scarier than growing a second head.

“You’re yelling.” Her tone quiet and nonabrasive.
“All I am saying is it cost you.... And zh’at is not what I wanted.”

“The voices… they won’t… stop… SCREAMING!” It was agony, a cacophony of voices in his head, and he couldn’t make it stop. It was hard to breathe, hard to think, hard to speak. He just wanted it to stop.

With a frown, Wanda sat next to Pietro so that she faced him. She studied her twin’s face. The somber frown, his downcast gaze, the way his jaw clenched. Gently, she reached out to brush his hair out of his face, letting her fingers linger. There was nothing she could say, no good answers for him. Nothing that could make it easier for him. Because she felt it, too. The way all the bad pressed in until the world was claustrophobic and it felt like there was nothing good left.
“The point,” she whispered, “is that you are alive. And we’re together.”

“So we are clear, he had that coming.” He was just a little protective of his brother. Nobody touched him, not while Vander was around. Squatting, he studied the man. “He will be fine. Probably.”
