I’m curious about spell & coffee!
My baby, my sweet sweet story "Spell & Coffee" ("Sortilège Moderne" in french which translate as modern spell).
It's a universe I started to write... fuck, it's already been 10 years? Well, I guess it is. So yeah, I started writing this universe in 2016, not as a full story at first, mostly just like the small one shot I still do now. But one story became two, then five and before I knew it, I had a full cast, a vague plot that mostly is sort of casual day-to-day life for all the characters and enough material to make something more serious of it.
Spell & Coffee follows characters that all live in a coastal town where magic is hiding —but not quite— in plain sight. The main part of the cast are witches that each have their own specific magic but there's also more mysterious creatures that live their life, unbothered. There's a collection of little plots that link some characters here and there together. One of the main place is a coffee&book shop, hence the english title.
Last year, I started translating what I already wrote in english (because there's not a lot of demand for french original story, as I quickly noticed) to hopefully share it. I really want to continue writing it too, whether in english or in french.
