I'm hoping that there will be some heavy (and much needed) Reigisa development next episode! I really feel like this season they were shoved to the side, even though I feel like they could have done some interesting writing with them. It's crazy how easily they were shoved to the side when they were such crucial characters in the first season. :(
I know :( I’m glad they got some more screen time in episode 11, but I pretty much agree with all of this 100%. It’s almost as if the writers forgot why they wrote the characters in the first place; they just have no idea how to fit them into a plot, so they become, like, decorations on the walls.
okay but the potential for an unrequited!sareth x shrike is OFF THE CHARTS. like???? the idea of sareth just being There with his feelings for a multitude of reasons (either too focused on magic, denial, or otherwise - maybe the good 'ole later, but not now) and then shrike find's rook's mom and sareth is even MORE JUST. THATS FINE. but then shrike DIES and he's like. welp. and then ROOK COMES AND HE'S LIKE AW SHIT. AW SHIT I GOTTA TAKE CARE OF SHRIKE'S SON NOW I HATE IT HERE (he doesn't, but think of a steven universe pearl type thing)
Ahh I'm so happy to see that you're back!!
Thank you! I hope to be more active as season 3 progresses. I wasn’t as attentive to the movies as I could have been, but I’m excited for the new content!
