QUINT
The Quint had a gender war several centuries ago known as "Kal' uhn Ter Maklang" (literally "The year we separated"). During this war, doctor Mell'n discovered a way to reproduce without the need of a male. With boosted confidence the other sex was unneeded, the females eradicated the male population.
Several centuries passed before it was discovered that Mell'n's method had some permanent effects on their species; their once great intelligence had seriously dropped. Once capable of managing a laboratory, this species is now commonly seen in minimum wage jobs due to their below average intelligence.
I forgot how much fun I had drawing aliens. Might get back into that soon enough. For now, enjoy the story of this species of angry spiders (Even if their heads were more inspired by Japanese Emporer Caterpillars).
The story was inspired by some post I found on Tumblr; something about females being able to use bone marrow to reproduce with each other. Thought it was interesting.
