Geranium the frazzled goat

Threw jackets to the ground

Trying to find her rain coat

It was nowhere to be found

She looked behind the daffodils

She searched beneath the chair

She even looked inside the fridge

Her raincoat wasn’t there

In the last place she thought to look

She found her coat at last

While fixing up her frazzled self

Reflected in the glass

She lingered at her mirror

Open mouthed and staring

“I’ve lost my mind! I couldn’t find

The coat that I was wearing!”

IF LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS

Far off in the lemon trees

There lived a lump of cheddar cheese

That cheese's life was pretty boring

'Til one day she went... exploring

She went by bus and boat and plane

And then she went by bus again

But on the love train Cheddar saw

A beetroot stumble through the door

Beetroot smiled, a wink from Cheddar

Turning Beetroot ten times redder

Beetroot blushed, the Cheddar cheese

Turned to mush, weak at the knees

She cried "Enough of citrus fruit

I'm going to live with this beetroot"

And toucan play at that old game

So Beetroot yelled "I feel the same!"

And two years later (this is wild)

They had a cheesy beetroot child
