Thinking of him.
@spilledblood asked:
then why the hell did you agree to do it? (sherry)
Sherry realized that Rick's perception of her choices was still different despite being in the same situation as her. These differences only highlighted her isolation. She felt misunderstood and judged, and it was difficult for her to accept that no one would approve of her decisions ─ no matter how good her intentions had been. She knew she had to make the best of her situation, despite how much she hated herself for it.
" How could you of all people ask me that, Rick? You and I are more similar than you might think. We've both made the wrong choices to protect the people we cared about. You still have a chance to save your people but for me, it's too late. Don't let fear and desperation guide your choices like I did. Think carefully before you act and remember that sometimes the right decision is the hardest one to make. "
Everything she had once cared for was now gone. There was nothing left for her to fight for but Rick still had a chance. " I just wanted to tell you this before I go back. Negan finding me here won't end well for anyone. "

🔥 What is your hottest take on your fandom?
Hot Takes | Accepting | @spilledblood
I don’t think I have many hot takes lol.
If I had to share one though (and this is about the overall fandom, not just the rpc), I’d say that some people put their faves on way too high of a pedestal, sometimes to the point of becoming incapable of accepting when they’ve done something wrong or something that’s hurt or negatively affected other characters. And which, fine, people will have different opinions on what’s right/okay and what’s not. But then some of these same people will be overly critical of others and even condemn other characters for things they praised their own fave for doing. They have no problem being harsh towards other characters but can’t handle anything negative about their own fave. They might call their fave a complex three-dimensional character, but view others they don’t care about as flat and ignore the depth that’s clearly there.
And I think it becomes a problem when they get involved in discussion with other fans or try to roleplay with others and won’t budge on that belief that their fave/muse is always in the right or the most important. Everyone in twd has done wrong, everyone in twd has feelings and their own backstories and trauma, and they’re all part of the story. In RP especially, you have to be willing to see things from everyone’s perspectives, not just your own muse.

valentines meme || @spilledblood
It takes a beat for Daryl to make sense of it, the red film wrapped around a long, narrow box. It looks like something he’d expect from a jewelry store maybe, all dolled up, but it’s not that. He’s pretty sure it’s not that.
Not like he’s ever been given jewelry.
Never been given chocolate either, obviously, once he pulls the film loose and hesitantly edges one corner of the box up. He probably looks like he’s checking for a damn landmine, but it’s not sure how else to handle it. People don’t give him shit. Not nice shit, not more than basic survival needs, anyway. And now that he and Rick are… what they are to each other, it hadn’t occurred to him that might change along with everything else.
There’s a heat in his cheeks and a fluttering his chest and it’s stupid. Rick’s given him food before. (Supplies. For survival.) This shouldn’t be all that different. But… hell, this is chocolate.
“Didn’t get you nothin’.” He knows what today is, more or less. Far as Alexandria’s time keepers can be sure of their dates, anyway. But it’d never occurred to him it might matter. He’s never been with anyone like this before Rick. Sure as hell never been someone’s Valentine.
A smile touches his lips at the sheer absurdity of it. At being handed fancy chocolates by the guy he’s–– sleeping with. At the way his chest is going warm from it. He digs a piece out: that kind of hard dark shell with something soft hidden inside. He bites over a grin, glancing up.
“Hope you know you ain’t gettin’ one of these either.” He pops the piece in his mouth, a rush of sweet good enough to set his toes curling. The grin finally teases its way out. “But you can kiss me after, f’you want.”
@spilledblood - Liked for a Negan starter!

"Oh, Rick," Negan called, voice low and PATRONISING in every way. That tone that would suggest playful antagonising, flowing so freely from his mouth as if effortless.
"Did you get that for me?" Gloved index finger pointed to the knife on Rick's hip, eyes glancing from the weapon and then back to Rick's gaze, a subtle challenge to OPPOSE him.
Did Rick think that his knife would be EXEMPT from his reach? Oh, no, no. EVERYTHING belonged to him. They were providing for him, as established. They worked for him. Their belongings were now HIS belongings.
' half your shit ' was still going, but that knife could not be trusted with someone like RICK GRIMES. After all, being back stabbed in a literal sense was very much a real threat. Not that he necessarily expected that from Rick, and if anything it was to prove yet ANOTHER point.

❝ hold still. ❞ nobody likes this part, she gets it. but georgie’s got a job to do---and it is a job, even if money’s ceased to be relevant, even if she has no idea what’s going to happen. maybe not a job, then; it’s a duty. she’s got a duty. yeah, that sounds about right. just when she thought she’d hung up her duty-bound days, eh? ❝ infection kills, and i’m not wasting antibiotics on a scratch like this. just keep it covered, yeah? you’re fine. ❞

Tripping on her own skates, Ariel caught herself on the chilled ice before her knees scraped against the ground. It had been since her youth that the red head had taken to the ice. Blushing, Ariel pushed herself up from her fallen position with a determination to reclaim lost ability.
“I’ve done this before,” Ariel admitted to the community leader, smile playing upon her lips as winter winds danced through her red curls, “but it’s been a really long time.”
