1. Kimmalyn/Spensa (yk me)

Even if they’re not canon they have an adorable relationship and I love how much they care for and look after eachother. If I had a better grasp on words I would write a five paragraph essay about them. I also love how Spensa is soft for Kimmalyn (and everyone else she’s close to)

2. Lumity

I don’t really engage with them as much as I used to but not only are they adorable but they’re amazing queer rep that we desperately needed back in 2021.

I remember when I was still a repressed mormon girl and I had a flip phone I would scroll through youtube on that tiny screen looking for content of them. It was a bit of a guilty pleasure lol but good memories

3. Time buddies

Ok outer wilds spoilers ahead but to summarize for those who don’t wanna scroll further they’re essentially what got me emotionally attached to outer wilds and they have an amazing dynamic.

I still remember clearly the first time I met Gabbro. Before I could talk to them a cyclone came along and tossed their island into space. I watched as they hovered above their hammock unbothered, still playing their flute and I was fuckin mesmerized. Then I found out they were in the time loop and I was fuckin ecstatic. I kinda developed a parasocial relationship with them from that point on and they’re pretty much what got me deeper into the outer wilds hole.

Anyways being trapped in a time loop together is a top tier ship dynamic. Gabbro is a bit of a comfort character for me and I’d like to think they’re a comfort to Hatchy too. In my headcanon they’re a qpr and they cuddle in that hammock sometimes.
