“it’s mine, and you can’t have it!” ( galactic scavenger rey doing scavenger things )
It had once, Tarre considers, been a ship. A functional ship, one that might have even been capable enough to fly someone -maybe even two people- out of this planet. Unfortunately, that was a thing of the past, and that came from someone who had always liked to have people more capable than him verifying his assessments in regards to what could or could not hope to fly.
He didn't need verification to consider this one a lost case. Not with the holes he could see, and the missing plating, and the way the engine was certainly no longer much of an engine.
It was also not what had brought Tarre here, but finding a functional ship would have been a welcome boon.
He was also mildly aware that in this planet, with the armor he was wearing even if he'd left behind the cape and much of the chainmail, he did not look particularly friendly. Just yet another bandit, or bounty hunter, if one couldn't recognize the beskar.
Beskar like the two small armor pieces he could see behind the scavenger, because the glint was unmistakable and the void in the Force, even more so.
He did consider warning her aside, or threatening her. He did not: he had principles, and he was very, very good at violence, but preferred not to resort to it immediately. Instead, he tilted his head at her.
"Do you know," he asked her, gently, "what that metal is?"
