totally average white flowers right? Yeah? What you’re looking at right now are the flowers of the Diphylleia grayi, a plant in the Berberidaceae family, native to northern japan. But of course that’s only the scientificy names. The common name for these is Skeleton Flowers. Why? Well, take a look at this
Hecc yeah look at that. These flowers turn totally transparent whenever it rains, and right back to their usual white after it dries up again. Isn’t that so cool

This is the Zinnia Elegans, aka Common Zinnia, aka Elegant Zinnia, aka Youth and Old Age. That last one is a really interesting name for a flower in my opinion I mean isn’t that cool.

This is a Datisca Cannabina, also called False Hemp, for obvious reasons. Fun Fact about this plant: it’s used in the creation of yellow dye!

This is the touch-me-not aka jewel weed which are both just absolutely banger names I mean just. Look at them. Scientific Name Impatiens noli-tangere which is also pretty cool i guess

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a better day than I am (tired lol). I felt like going for a relaxing chill vibe for todays flower so I selected a water based one. The Nymphaea Capensis, aka Cape Blue Waterlily, member of the Nymphaeaceae family.
As always I’m a huge fan of purples and yellows, so this is a nice one. This flower symbolizes pleasure and peace, both of which we could all use these days I think
