kit is nosy. anyone who knows her can attest to this. she’s curious about anything and everything --- especially things that aren’t her business. that quality is one of many things that make her a great reporter, rather than just a good one. unfortunately, it goes far beyond her career, and has gotten her into a lot of trouble throughout the years.

but kit’s never run away from trouble ( she almost seems to chase after it ), so when screams start coming from the apartment next door, her curiosity’s only piqued. the screaming continues for a few weeks before kit decides to go over and ask about it.

she knocks on the door, waiting impatiently for it to open. when it finally does, kit immediately starts talking. ❛ --- hey! i’m kit, i live next door. i was wondering if you’re... okay? just asking because i hear a lot of screaming from here. ❜
