Skill issue
Sure, you can say "get gud lol", but not enough people take the time to explain how to get better.
It's hard to say what this is in reference to, but I'm going to guess it's about Splatoon's spawn camping "problem".
This has been an issue in every game in the franchise so far. In fact, the reason why S3's maps have such a wide spawn area was to try and fix this problem. The devs are obviously aware of spawn camping and they aim to help in any way they can.
I think it's fair to say that new players don't know the strategies to overcome spawn campers. As a veteran who wants everyone to play my favorite game of all time, I owe it to myself to equip them with the knowledge of how to overcome one of the most frustrating hurdles of the whole game.
So yeah. "Skill issue" is technically true. But why be so elitist about it?
after this past splatfest, a lot more posts are getting angry about spawn camping. unfortunately, there's nothing the devs can really do about this unless they up and fix all the maps, but this guy gives really good advice on what to do.
don't ALLOW them to spawn camp. 😏
After I noticed it I had to do it.
