Oliver Thredson had witnessed some stranger things at Briarcliff. Certainly, that boy who had claimed to be possessed by Satan was one of the more stranger ones. Too bad Satan had made the mistake of alluding to his dark secret -- shame for the boy to have lost his life with an “incorrect” dosage all to protect that secret. 

He’s since escaped the world. He’d escaped a death sentence and a prison sentence. He’d worked with all of them and he’d known their weaknesses long before. Bloody Face had disappeared. He’d been replaced by other killers in the news and Oliver Thredson was in the wind. Now he worked under a new name, new identity. His hair worn a bit longer, a full beard added as a disguise. He was Doctor Mortimer Fell now. But he still found interest in others -- in their skin. Especially in women in their late twenties to early thirties -- the perfect mommy age.

Keeping up appearances, the good doctor offered a pleasing smile. 

“Have we met before?”

It’s always interesting speaking with Nica, for as sweet as Tiffany may be on the outside, her true motives are far from innocent, yet she hides it exceptionally well. After all, she’s had a lifetime of practice.

“How can you be so sure?”

Call it morbid fascination but she’s itching to hear all the gory details about what it’s like being possessed by her chaotic boyfriend’s soul.

It’s another slow day. Robin is trying to flirt with this girl it’s almost hard to watch. Almost. It’s the most entertaining thing happening right now. He snorts looking away as another customer comes into the video. Giving the woman a mock salute and a soft smile.

“Morning! Welcome to Family Video, anything I can help you find today?” He asks tilting his head curiously.

Nica & Elgyn

“Voodoo? Not really sure what to make of that.” Elgyn shrugged, deciding to pick up the cigarette once she’d finished her explanation. He lit it, stuck it between his lips, and let it linger there.

He’d fought aliens that bled acid. Should a man transferring his soul into an inanimate object really surprise him? He found it hard to believe but not impossible. There was plenty of evidence out there of life after death. As the bartender meandered over, Elgyn ordered himself a whiskey then looked to Nica. “Order what you want. It’s on me. Tell me more about this doll, though. Why would anyone transfer their soul into a doll of all things?”

he didn’t interrupt her once, even when her statements left concern building within him, weighing down his heart. this wasn’t a new concept, possession, and, though he’d never admit it, he thanked his lucky stars every single day that chucky was unsuccessful in attempting all those years ago. “ we just have to work on getting you stronger while he’s weak ; it’ll make things easier, he won’t be able to be in control at all. ” at the mention of her mother, eyebrows furrowed together and his frown deepened. “ do you [ ... ] do you wish he did? ”
