Not to confused her observation with unease, if anything she's excited that so many people came! It always gave her a chance to make new friends, and have her friends make new friends.

Rachael being a lady already gives her a bit more wiggle room than most seeing as this stems from how much he loved his mom who he associated with love, warmth, and kindness (even more so than his dad).

Up to this point, Rachael has basically earned his trust seeing as he is comfortable enough with her to sleep next to her (as well as have prolonged contact with her!), and though he doesn't know a super lot about her, he trusts her enough to where he'd want to talk to her about certain things that are personal to him... and would listen to her, too, even if he didn't understand right away or only partially.

That's huge.

If she continues to treat him as she has been and open up more, he'll do the same.
