Imagine a spell splits superman in two in a sense.

His identity as Clark Kent though he’s pretending to be a normal human the spell actually makes him that and then his identity a superman a super strong alien.

And now Clark realises why Bruce has those contingency even though he knows the other half of him won’t ever do anything intentionally bad but that feeling of what if and what could he even do against him. He wonders if this is what Bruce feels.
