Supernatural
Got through 18 episodes yesterday. I LOVE season 13. And once I got past the first 6 episodes, I haven’t cried again. So we’re at 4/18 (I think). Scoobynatural was everything I thought it would be and I loved it. Loved the Noir episode too. After an afternoon of running my kids around, I have one more stop to take my daughter and I will be back to the marathon. And writing my J2 version of Ender’s Game for the spn_cinema challenge which is due tomorrow.

QUICK ANNOUNCEMENT! We have created an AO3 Collection: SPN_Cinema_Challenge. Feel free to add past SPN_Cinema creations to this collection! It is unmoderated at this time so you should be able to add your fics from this round (and past rounds, as needed). This goes for all current AND past participants. And good luck to those wrapping up your pieces for Round 12!
Two weeks (and a few hours) until drafts are due to the mods!
Drafts are due the end of Monday, January 31 @ 12:01am (in your own timezone). Trust us that this is not meant to be a stress-inducing draft, but just something that shows us you're working on it, have ideas, are still committed to the film, etc. It can be as simple as a:
rough outline
one long or a few scenes written
pencil sketch on the back of a fast food wrapper
track listing
WHATEVER! Just submit something to us and you can pass on through the rest of the round. All other drafts information is below the cut. Please read carefully! If you have further questions, you may comment to this post or email the mods.
SUBMITTING YOUR DRAFT
Note on collaboration drafts: If you're working in collaboration, you can submit all fanwork drafts in one email detailing the partnership. You may also submit your items separately, whichever works best for you. Each participant in the collaboration must submit a draft, but they do not have remain tied together (e.g., if the writer has to drop out, the artist can continue with their draft and post on their assigned date - and vice versa).
For fic:
Drafts must be at least 750 words in length. There should be some construction of your story, whether this is a fully finished story, scene, an outline, or something in between. We promise we are not tough about this, but want to see some thought/movement on the story.
Attach your fic as either a .PDF, .DOC, .TXT, .RTF, google doc - what works well enough that we can see the work in the doc.
Do not post your fic in any public spaces until your posting date.
Completed, posted fics must be, at minimum, 1,000 words in length.
For art (excluding videos):
Drafts must be at least a sketch or in-progress piece. Just like with fics, it could be a very basic outline construction, fully completed, or somewhere in between.
Only one sketch/file is required for drafts, even if you are planning to create multiple pieces for your final post.
Attach your art either as a .PNG or .JPG.
Do not post your art in any public spaces until your posting date.
Completed art must consist of, at minimum, one image with a size of 400x400 pixels.
For videos:
Drafts must be at least 20 seconds in length (not including placeholders).
Attach the file to your email or upload your sample to a hosting site and send us a link to download it.
Do not post your video in any public spaces until your posting date.
Completed videos must be, at a minimum, one minute in length.
For podfics:
Drafts must cover at least 750 words of the story you are recording.
Attach the file to your email or upload your sample to a hosting site and send us a link to download it.
Do not post your podfic in any public spaces until your posting date.
Completed podfics must be, at a minimum, 1,000 words.
If you're collaborating with an author and the fic is not done, feel free to record a rough version of the current draft. All we want to see is that you are both working towards some process.
YOU MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM THE AUTHOR TO RECORD THE PODFIC. Provide confirmation that the author has acknowledged permission, such a screenshot of the email/IM/whatever discussion you had.
For fanmixes:
Drafts must consist of at least five songs.
Attach the file to your email or upload your draft to a hosting site and send us a link to download it. Please also include a list of the songs currently in the draft there.
Do not post your fanmix in any public spaces until your posting date.
Completed fanmixes must be, at a minimum, 10 songs in length and include a cover that is at least 400x400 pixels in size.
Send your draft to [email protected] along with the following information copy-pasted into the email:

Movie Prompt:

Reference Fic: (this is only needed for people doing podfics or fanmixes of already written fic; please include a link to the fic and proof of permission from the author)
