Well, Howard, as the Watchman is the most powerful being in the Cube, but after his fight with Roswell, after which he was banished from Beta8, his powers got a bit destabilized (at least what he claims) and for example, he can't shapeshift as much anymore (like he can't get rid of his runes and eyes, which he copied from Tim and its a pain lol) so to stablize his powers and mostly because he's just evil and doesn't really care about the humans as he should he just likes to possess poor V from time to time. They have this sort of deal that at least he won't possess anyone else, so the rest of the squad is safe from having their brains melted. It did save Vincent's life, and he did gain some knowledge about Roswell and a special connection to the Watchman from just having Howard in his head, but mostly, a terrible deal. To be completely honest, I thought about scraping this side plot many times, but I always come up with the conclusion that no no Howards evil he would do that, he's like the ps5 guy and my free will is an illusion, and if I were to draw a short webcomic it would be about the squad meeting Howard for the first time (Nekros backstory included) 🫡

Heyyyyy, for no reason whatsoever (definitely not Artfight, definitely) what kind of evil science is Tim up to? And do you have any references of what his lab looks like?

Roswell's main goal is to create a Breach from his planet (Beta8) to Beta5, which is possible to do with advanced technology like the Greyhounds have but its also dangerous (sth sth breaking the laws of space and time, and if u do it wrong u might destroy both planets), so he spent the last like 100 years making sure it's also safe, but it's evil because he fought Howard (The Watchman) to work on this project in peace and is doing it against his wishes(while Howard is banished from B8 and can't stop him). Oh yeah, and that also caused a civil war. And there are also The Rebels who think Roswell is planning to start a war with Beta5 and to basically invade it. In the end, he's more of a mad scientist than an evil scientist I guess? :' D

Roswell travels across the planet and its many labs very often, but his main residence is The Tower which is this huge city-like structure with many levels of labs. I mostly think of them as white/light blue and with a general sterile vibe, but I also like to imagine the Greyhounds just sitting in the dark with just their holo screens lighting up the room(bcs it looks cool lol)

I actually just remembered that I have this One sketch from like 2017 of what the Breach portal looks like under construction
