( slam ) : one or both of our muses witnesses a door opening and slamming on its own

( cabinets ) : our muses come home to find every cabinet and drawer in the home open

( whispers ) : our muses are home alone and hear a disembodied whisper from the other room

( floorboards ) : one or both of our muses hear footsteps above them... where no one should be 

( sleepover ) : our muses have been dared to spend the night in a reportedly haunted place together
