rust

tiny character canon that rust is a legit sickness metal OCs get and kinda works like a skin disease

Brown splotches would start appearing on the skin and spread all over if left untreated. These splotches would be very painful to the touch.

Eventually, if left untreated for a long time it will effectively corrode the limb until it rots and disintegrate.

Treatment is as painful. The skin has to either be chemically treated or sand down. Pretty much the idea is removing the layer of rust.

Effectively removing a layer of the skin.

Chemical treatment is the most common in dealing with rust and the pain can be described a pouring an entire bottle of alcohol over a very VERY big wound.
