I've been watching you Speed Painting videos lately and I was wondering why don't you just use the autofill tool when you're coloring everything in?
Well I used to but then I started to feel like that kind of cheapens the watcher’s experience to see me take so much time on the outline but then just instantly fill everything in.
Plus when I use the Auto-Fill tool it doesn’t completely fill everything in, it leaves a very small gap between the color and the outline so I’d still ave to go around everything and fill that in myself. (In Gimp at least. I haven’t tried it in any other paint tool)
