What are you up to? It's one of my favourite books! Neil Gaiman as a dude might have some issues but dang American Gods hits all my weak spots re: mythology and multiculturalism and everything. The structure kind of reminds me of Grapes of Wrath the way it keeps flicking between focusing on Shadow and the deities more generally? Also Shadow is a mixed race main character which is so nice. Super sad to hear that HBO is not doing the American Gods reproduction anymore but apparently a show is still getting made and I'm still excited about that. *_*
