Characters bonded with spren will have you shouting at them to hurry up with their character development so they can reach level thirty and unlock their spren's tragic backstory and adjacent lore like they're some kind of trainer-pokémon pair meets otome game character

what i'm always thinking about is that every main character had their spren pursuing them and urging them to form a bond, but only bondsmiths coerced their spren into doing so. that's so interesting
