I went to Spring Sushi at 10 Dundas St E 500, 5th Floor, Toronto, ON M7A 2A1 and got the All You Can Eat buffet reservation. I don't really like seafood though so I just got one (1) chicken Katsu and a deep fried banana. The katsu was good but the banana wasn't.

I guess The Hobbit was okay albeit a bit slow and Spring Sushi sucks.

Need to learn how to be more assertive
I'm getting fed up with my pay checks. I work 50+ hours biweekly and doing all the calculations, I only make around $8.45, plus tips which adds to around $15-16 per hour. But if you really think about it, that's BULL! Minimum wage is $10.25 - with or without tips, and this is against the law. You know what else is against the law? Not being paid for time and a half on holidays and being demoted for two weeks worth of tips if late twice. You'd think with a reputable restaurant like ours, problems like this shouldn't even exist. Oh, and I'm not even allowed to take days off unless it's for a legitimate reason like exams, appointments and tests. I guess it's an asian thing, huh? A few of my co-workers and I feel like we're being cheated and taken advantage of, but we're honestly too nice and such push overs and we don't have the heart to complain. I feel like such a selfish and obnoxious person complaining about money when there are people out there who can't even make a penny, but then again, I live in CANADA, a country that promotes equality. *sigh* the day I leave Spring, I'm never working in an asian environment AGAIN!

Another 4 people got hired and guess what two of them had in common? The same name. There are a total of 5 people with a name similar or close to mine - janny, jenny p, jennie o, jenny y, and then there's me, jennifer. I'm getting irritated because I never know who is talking to who! :(
