This is my 4th coffee themed card and for someone like me who doesn’t drink coffee, its alot of cards for me to make, but I know the majority of my friends depend enjoy their coffee so I won’t have any problems giving them away I think. It was also a challenge for me to see how many different types of cards I could make with the same coffee theme stamps from Concorde & 9th and My Favorite Things, as those are the only 2 coffee theme stamps I have!
I made a very simple one layer card but added some dimension by adding Nuvo drops on the rim of my cup, the milk heart and the spoon. I saw this being done by a few card makers so I thought I’d try it too and it slides on so easily! The little leaves have sparkles on them as I coloured them with Spectrum Noir Glitter markers. The coffee and sentiment was stamped with Altenew’s Dark Chocolate ink and I went over the coffee in the cup with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers as I can never get a smooth rich coverage with whole stamps.
I’m not a coffee drinker, or hot chocolate as I’m lactose intolerant too.. but I feel like one now as that looks delicious doesn’t it? Yum!
In case you haven’t seem my previous posts, here are the other 2 cards I made with this same stamp set in the same day. I have so many more ideas so I don’t think it will be the last time I use them!
Well thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!
