☆ Natalie was always a little insecure about stuff, but especially now since she was the leader, she found herself being a lot more reclusive than she used to be.
☆ It wasn't until you both opened up to each other that she finally started to come out of her shell more. You brought out a spark of warmth in her that she had long forgotten.
☆ She really liked how nice you were to her, but she was constantly asking for reassurance. Poor thing is scared of being alone and losing you too.
☆ "You promise this is okay?" She asked when you first held hands. Wondering if it was too soon or too clingy, but once you told her how much you liked it too, she practically jumped for joy.
☆ You tell her how amazing she is and how proud you are of her, and she starts blushing. Hard. Sweet girl just gets shy when she's praised. She can't help it when you're being so kind to her.
☆ When she's getting quickly getting overwhelmed, you gently guide her to your shared hut and help her sit down for a moment. "I'm just so stressed with everything," She'd sit there with her knees pulled up to her chest, shaking slightly from crying.
After she calms down a little, you reach out to gently wipe away her tears. "I think you're doing awesome, love," she looks up at you, hopeful.
"Best leader I ever had anyway," you chuckle and give a lopsided smile, only to receive a playful push from the blonde. "Shush it, you dork," now she's chuckling along with you.
☆ On nights when things are preticularly hard on her, she's sulking without meaning to and will just reach her arms out for a hug when you're alone together.
☆ You hold her close and whisper things that make her melt in your arms and bury her face in your neck. She's just so darn cute.
☆ She likes to draw patterns on your skin and fidget with your fingers when she's bored or feeling jittery, and you're more than happy to let her do things that soothe her.
☆ She'd have nightmares about the crash but would wake up with your arms wrapped around her. She calmed down quicker with you around to protect her, and you have no idea how safe she truly feels with you.
☆ When chores were caught up and everyone got free time to do their own thing, you took Natalie down near the lake for a surprise.
☆ You had a blanket all layed out and a woven basket (that you spent hours making) filled with berries you picked and washed earlier that day sitting in the middle.
☆ You told her to open her eyes, and she started sobbing right then and there.
☆ You being the type to fuss and worry over her, you asked what was wrong and if you had done anything. She just cried onto your shoulder and said, "No one has ever done anything like this for me before," She's entirely too sweet.
☆ You ended up staying at that spot for hours with her glued to your side, giggling about things you'd done and things you planned to do together once being rescued.
☆ You shared your first kiss there, her lips tasting like blackberries and oh so Natalie. She pulled away with a big ole grin across her face and started fidgeting with your hands cause she got nervous.
