I don’t think it’d bother me so much if people knew what it actually was, but they dont.
yeah. I mean, it’s one thing for me to jokingly refer to myself as a nutcase, while still knowing the full gravity of my diagnoses. when people throw around the names of mental disorders that they know nothing about, it’s a little concerning.
people probably wouldn’t use it so casually if they knew what it actually was, I think.

My cat’s no fun. She seems to be aware it’s not real. D:
My always been a housecat is the same. But my semi-feral rescue kitteh? She's totally like "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT CAN I EAT IT?"
Of course, she still doesn't understand how reflections off mobile devices work. Reading my tablet in bed doubles as play time for her as she chases the reflections on the wall.
