“You guys want to go hang out in the graveyard tomorrow night?” I did what I could to make the suggestion sound casual to my friends.

“What? Why the graveyard?”

“The aesthetic,” I lied. They wouldn’t have agreed if told them I needed their help with a few new spells I had been researching.

After a successful date, Person A brings Person B home to introduce them to the squad. As soon as they enter, Person D goes racing through the room, giggling like a maniac, and is quickly followed by an angry Person C. Person A stops Person C and says, "[Person C], this is [Person B]. They come from a FUNCTIONAL family..." Person C condescendingly pats Person B's head and replies, "Aren't you precious?" before turning around and screaming, "[PERSON D], GET BACK HERE!"
