okay ramenzo but consider kaizo gaining fame across the universe from his heroic missions only next thing yknow hes a galactic celebrity and all his fans are either simping for him or shipping him with his fine partner manramen

fact probably all the people his age he trained with had a crush on him at some point or other except he just never? felt attracted to any of them? given he was probably more concerned with protecting fang and becoming stronger but at some point people start assuming he’s just hiding his feelings for ramen to the extent that he starts believing it too

except deep down sth doesnt feel right so as much as he hangs out and acts all romantic with ramen he still doesnt Feel it but ramen is very clearly into it so he just assumes he’s broken and doesnt know what hes supposed to be feeling so he puts on a facade and reciprocates as much as he can bc everyone else clearly believes it so it must be true

ultimately the fame kinda starts breaking him tho cause he realizes the cameras dont care how he feels he’s just a pretty face for fangirls to squeal at. he starts disbelieving in the concept of friendship bc every person who looks at him probably just sees him as a hot guy or else superficially attractive. the fact that ramen was the closest he ever got to a genuine confidant but even ramen cant help being attracted to him.
