Clam Blitz got added so Tide gets an updated card.
But in order to make this post more meaningful I’ve added Newt’s Splatoon 2 card as well, where he surprisingly made it to S in Tower Control. (Mostly as a joke because he is an expert of sitting in one place.) He has yet to play Clam Blitz and likely never will.
I retooled the joke character so now he’s this new guy: Newt. A very apathetic and likely lazy individual with a soft spot for serpentine creatures like snakes and eels. He likes Seekers cause he usually hitches a ride with them like this.
Sometimes he just feels so lazy to the point that when he knows he has to get out of bed but doesn’t want to get out of bed he just throws a seeker and moves with his blanket still on.
I don’t even know why I did this. I guess I’ve grown attached to the little squiddies and I just needed to get this out of my system.

Cobalt: A loyal mystery
General:
Cobalt looks like a distant feminine inkling. He talks calmly and never looks anyone in the eye properly. Most others believe that he's blind due to his lack of eye contact and his pastel lavender eyes, but in truth he's extremely far sighted. Once he warms up to another, he is nothing like anyone previously imagined. He's easily embarrassed and he's much more ... passionate and much less cold than what he first appeared to be. At this point he normally reveals that he's not blind as well, just everything is blurry unless its really far away.
Cobalts blindness
Cobalt was never blind. He just has really terrible vision and strange colored eyes. Cobalt is aware of this however and keeps that face on when around most people. He honestly likes to stare at people a lot because some inklings are more interesting or he might like something about them. He uses his blindness as an excuse for staring often. If he gets close enough to someone he might forget and make eye contact with them with intent and often freak the other out, but after flustering himself, he ends up confessing that he's not blind. But often times this concludes that that person is a close friend and things get more hectic from there normally.
Quirks
Cobalt generally looks feminine. From afar many mistake him for a girl. He really is flattered being called pretty or beautiful, but he's really self conscious about that for....past events..;;;Although he doesnt mind being feminine, he will readily correct anyone that he's a boy and that he's nOt pretty.
Once he warms up to others, he become really loyal, but also much more passionate. He is known to show acts of bitterness and jealousy and does hold biases and grudges occasionally. He's easily vexed around certain inklings, and isn't the purest nicest thing. He can be a bit troublesome but he really does love his friends and will always feel bad some time after, and make up for it somehow. He can be a pain in the ass but he always regrets and resolves.
Cobalt although on the tall side for his age, really likes feeling small compared to others. He hoards giant sweaters and sweatshirts and likes to drown in them. Often, he prefers to sit on the floor instead of the couch, and gets slightly depressed if anyone were to point out how tall he is.
Cobalt for a large amount of his life was wandering the streets homeless. He used to have a sister when he was growing up who really cared for him while homeless. Perhaps Cobalt likes to feel small because when he had his sister he was much smaller than her and she always gave him her oversized sweater for warmth in the winter. He was comforted by his big sister when he was little, it feels natural to feel comforted when he feels small like how he was with her. He isn't very small anymore and he dislikes that thought running though his mind.

ZEPHYR (updated)
-A boy who lives in the shadow of his famous, favored brother. Zephyr’s personality although generally seen as a strong type, is also seen to fluctuate frequently due to the many pressures and challenges that face him. He isn’t always nice, but he always is a caring individual and believes in justice completely. Zephyr uses the inkbrush or scope-less chargers in battle, and depending on his mood his play style will differ.

General life
Zephyr lives with his one and only older brother, Spencer, in their mother’s home. Their father has been missing for a few years, and their mother isn’t home very often, leaving it Spencer’s job to take care of Zephyr (although Zeph is already really independent) His brother, Spencer, had quite a history himself, leaving him very famous in his district, and well known and awed throughout Inkopolis at a young age. Due to this, Zephyr compares himself to the many talents and skill that his brother has, and sometimes feels inferior. So often, he forgets about the redeeming qualities about himself with him in mind.
Personality
Zephyr has S.A.D (social anxiety disorder) and so he puts a lot of pressure and stress on himself. This causes the fluctuation of his personality and the inability to express himself when pressured. He is known to overthink things a whole ton and make himself uncomfortable so don’t think its your fault if he feels uncomfortable…its all him /shot. When untroubled, he has a generally strong personality that is confident and maybe a lil reckless, but that can easily change in a socially awkward situation or the threat of one. He is also introverted, so he may tire himself out if not careful. If he were to feel tired or if he feels troubled or vulnerable, he will become really cold and attempt to shrug people off. This acts as his final shell if he’s not feeling so hot. Because of his fluctuating personality, he’s hard to predict and may be a pain to those who can’t handle all his personality types too well; thus why it is hard to maintain close friendships with him.
