Thank you sm!! Of course I can do that for you!! ₍˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶₎
Here they are, just a couple of nerds.✨
Hey, I love your artwork, so, I was wondering, is that okay to help you with ideas to draw, cause I'm an editor, so I can send you a photo, that can help you, if you like to?
Hey, thanks for your kind words about my artwork.
I'm very confused as to what you mean by "editor", I edit all my own drawings if I need to. Also I'm ok for inspiration thanks, if I get stuck I usually just bounce ideas off my friends.
This bit though: "A photo that can help you"? It kinda sounds like you want to commission me to make art for you but you want it for free, so you're phrasing it like you're doing me a favour and not the other way around. I've also seen that you've been asking this to other artists too which is kinda sketchy tbh.
So yeah, no thank you.
Here you go @icomb-ici, I hope it's ok lol.
Hi!
I'm very happy you're asking for art requests. You didn't say if you wanted to do fandom related art or not, so I thought I'd leave that part up to you.
I'd like to request some eggcellent Easter themed art please! (Doesn't have to have any religious content - I was thinking more coloured eggs, chocolate overload, bunnies etc.)
I love your art style - it always makes me happy to see you sharing the things you create. <3
Hey thx, that means a lot, I appreciate that. I'm down with anything to be fair but I am trying to reach out and expand beyond thunderbirds content rn. I hope you don't mind but I made a Digital Circus piece, a lil pissed off Jax. Happy Easter!! 🐣💕
You know what, I am finally curious enough to ask - what exactly are The Aqua bats???
**crashes through door**
Hey homie!!! I hear you're interested in the Aquabats!!
**slams down the projector**
Welcome to Aquabat 101!! Please grab a chair and a box of Snakey Snacks, we are going on an adventure!!
The Aquabats are a ska/punk/rock/whatever the fuck band that started out in the mid 90's lead by the Bat Commander (Christian Jacobs). Their whole gimmick is goofball superheroes and putting on wild stunts on stage like fighting villains in costume, throwing kids off the stage onto pool floaties, launching buckets of chicken nuggets at the crowd, setting stuff on fire (that one not so much anymore) y'know normal hero shit.
The Aquabats also had their own TV series "The Aquabats Supershow" that aired alllll the way back in 2012 which is where lil Squiddo found them. The show followed the Bat Commander and the rest of the band's line up at the time: Crash McLarson, Jimmy the Robot, Ricky Fitness and Eaglebones Falconhawk on their adventures playing music, fighting monsters, getting their asses handed to them by said monsters and trying not to go completely broke. It was a mixture of 60's Batman and Power Rangers with a big healthy dose of practical effects and insane stunts that won them an Emmy. It wasn't the 'Bats first go at television either, they'd attempted to create a show multiple times over the years which is a very long story so I'm gonna link in a video you can watch if you want to here and a previous post where I talk a bit about it here. The Aquabats, along with their friends and family, were also the people responsible for a children's show called Yo Gabba Gabba where they were guest stars on multiple episodes. The show's wild success helped springboard the Supershow into reality.
There is no one way to really explain the Aquabats, their history is long, their lore is never the same twice, their feats ever insane. They're very niche, weird, wild, silly and fun. They're a group of old dads and uncles who dress up in neoprene and rash guards and write songs about dragons, mutant cats, cannibal martian girls and some guy who fights sharks. Overall they're a group of dudes who are very well loved for their efforts to save the world through their music.
"Rawr" means "I love you" in dinosaur!! 🦖✌️

A glass of water half empty, otherwise, a glass of water half full…
Up to you!
Half full? Half empty? That's up to you to decide.
