The dark elf’s face was caught by rough hands, the rogue’s lips on his challenging, teeth biting, tongue invading. Then those hands were around his waist, pulling their bodies tightly together. The breath was forced out of him like from a blow. 

The man’s eyes, though hooded, still glinted dangerously. Drizzt might have chucked, but the sound was devoured by the assassin too. Drizzt relaxed in the hold. His own eyes slowly closed. The smell of sandalwood tickled his nose. 

Drizzt supposed this match he could bear to surrender.

Woman Pacts With An Eldritch Being, Makes Family: The Saga.

(I’m halfway through abondoning it for a spin-off about one of her follower from after she becomes a minor diety though)

For the ask thing: 1,3,4!

1. Tell us about your current project(s)  – what’s it about, how’s progress, what do you love most about it?

The biggest one is a Forgotten Realms/Bloodborne/Pathologic kinda cross (in this order of detail intensity). The main story is about a cultist on a self-discovery journey that is also a series of quests given to her by her godess Yule. I’m currently chin deep lost in the background lore - the story about why and how Yule became a god at all. This beast looks like it’s going to be saga-long. I’m writing it for several years now, you know how it is. Also it’s full of porn.

The second one is a Modern Girl in Thedas story with multiple Earth OCs just trying to stay alive during the Inquisition-Corypheus war. Few of them have various degree of knowledge of the games and lore - the main char has the most of it, including books, comics ect. I’m barely started, the outline is patchy at best too.

3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway)

I always wanted to write a scene of my char doing some overpowered, super impressive magics in combat ect, but the context never allows for it, since my chars are never themselves super powerful :( Like, I know I could do it anyway, because it’s my writing, so it can be as indulgent as I like, but... the aesthetic.

4. Share a sentence or paragraph from your writing that you’re really proud of (explain why, if you like)

I’m really proud of all the writing that I published actually - I return to reread them a lot.

Most recent is an emotional rollercoaster full of feels and also porn I published on AO3 “in that instance the pieces fell in place” - it’s a scene that did not fit in a Dragon Age fic I abondoned but may return to writing again. I’m not placing a link so that Tumblr doesn’t ghost this post, but if you put the title in a search bar it’s the only piece that comes out, if you want to check it out.

7. What is a book that you feel glad for not reading?

Um that must be Kerouac’s ‘On the Road’ which was one of the obligatory reads during my uni’s American Literature course. I heard all the bad things about it and all the girls in my group were complaining that it was the shittiest piece uni had us read ever, and then we bashed it during the course which was great

10. What is a book that you own more than one copy of?

I own both the original and Polish versions of the Paolini’s Inheritance Series books, I don’t know if that counts. I owned the Polish version from the moment they were published but then I decided to write my Bachelor Thesis about it’s languages and I had to buy the originals too

20. Have you ever been glad to not finish a series? Which?

yes, actually. I didn’t finish the Princess Diaries series, bc I saw spoilers that Mia and Michael break up further up and they were my OTP so I noped out of there before the Bad Times. I prefer living in denial where they live happily ever after
